If you’re torn between options, go with what suits your day-to-day routine—style meets function in the best designs.

Consider future needs. Planning for features now—rather than later—can save time, money, and effort down the road.

Selections like windows and doors are ordered early. Changes later can delay construction and impact your closing date, so double-check everything before signing off.

Mark your appointment date clearly. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations, as missed appointments may limit your design options due to production schedules.

 

9. Come Prepared

A deposit of up to 50% is required for selected upgrades. Bring a valid credit card or cheque to finalize your choices on the spot.

  • Can I preview finishes and upgrades before my appointment?

    Absolutely! We highly recommend booking a preview visit to our Design Centre. Exploring samples in advance will help you feel more confident and prepared during your appointment.

  • Can I make changes after my design selections are finalized?

    We strongly advise against late changes, as they can impact your construction timeline. Any requests depend on your home’s stage of production, require management approval, and incur a $500 administrative fee. Changes may also delay your closing date

  • Can I request upgrades not shown in the Design Centre?

    All selections must be made from products displayed in our showroom. We are unable to accommodate custom orders or alternate brands outside of our curated selection.

  • Can I access my home during construction to do work myself?

    For safety reasons, homeowners are not permitted on-site before closing. Any personal upgrades not selected through the Design Centre must be completed after you take possession of the home.

  • How long are design appointments?

    Each appointment is scheduled for up to 3 hours, either from 9 AM–12 PM or 1 PM–4 PM on weekdays. The better prepared you are, the more smoothly and efficiently your session will go.

  • What if I need specific appliance measurements?

    Standard appliance openings are provided at your structural appointment. If you need custom sizing, please bring the manufacturer’s specifications with you to your first design appointment.
