Joining the company at a young age, Lino Losani often describes his start in homebuilding as a true baptism by fire. Working side by side with his father, Giovanni, he was immersed in every aspect of construction, gaining first-hand knowledge of how each trade came together to create a home. This early, ground-level experience gave him not just technical skill, but a deep respect for the craft and the people behind it.

Lino quickly discovered a passion for carpentry. By the time he was old enough to take shop classes, he had already logged more practical experience than many of his teachers. On more than one occasion, he found himself guiding both classmates and instructors with techniques he had already mastered on the job site. Unlike most, his expertise was built not from textbooks, but through years of hands-on work, laying the foundation for his reputation as a true master carpenter.

But Lino’s strength has always gone beyond craftsmanship. He has long believed that homebuilding is not only about wood, brick, and mortar, it is about people. His leadership style, grounded in respect, fairness, and teamwork, earned him the admiration of trades, suppliers, and colleagues across the industry. He is known for elevating those around him, setting a standard where collaboration and care are valued, as highly as quality construction.

For his lasting contributions to both Losani Homes and the broader building community, Lino alongside his brother Fred, was inducted into the West End Home Builders’ Association (WEHBA) Hall of Fame. Today, as President and Executive Board Member, he continues to shape the company’s culture and uphold its reputation for quality, trust, and human connection. Every Losani community stands as a reflection of his pride, care, and craftsmanship.
